The Month of Public Art

For the month of October, I will be completing several public art projects! The first will be the electrical box in Longmont, Colorado. This is part of the Shock Art project the city has created to bring more public art to the community. I had submitted a design for the project and the public voted. Thanks to your vote I won! Now the project is underway and will be completed mid-month. Here are the first two sides that are complete!

If you would like to see the box in person, it is on the SW corner of Main St and Highway 66 in Longmont. I would love to hear what you think!

The next public art project is the shed murals at Harmony Vet. This is a large project that I have been working on with a group of volunteers. I designed the murals which cover the shed from top to bottom on all sides, which are 14’ high. They depict beautiful mountain scenes of pets and people, all the good stuff Colorado has to offer! The volunteers are coming in to help paint the murals! Our first side is almost complete. The goal is to have this project completed by mid-November, so stay tuned for further updates!

If you are interested in having a mural created at your home and business you can email me at kyra@infuse.gallery. It is a beautiful addition to any space and is completely customized for your needs. I look forward to hearing from you!
